Businessolver earns 2 gold awards after transitioning to digital content

After its on-site events took a knock during the pandemic, Businessolver — a benefits administration technology company — had to start thinking of other ways to communicate and engage with its clients effectively.

This led them into the exciting world of digital content creation — a space where they've successfully transformed communication with their clients and employees (and won two gold awards for content creation in the process).

To explain their smooth transition into the digital space with Foleon, we sat down with Madicyn Maines, Director of the Studio B team at Businessolver.

Keeping up with client communication during the Pandemic

"Typically, we would run on-site enrollment and benefits fairs to help our clients and employees understand their benefits better, where we could go around and meet people in person. However, we faced challenges assisting our clients in the same way during the height of the pandemic, which meant that we had to start looking at taking our in-person events and bringing them into the digital space," explains Maines.

After receiving support requests from clients, Businessolver decided to look towards new technology to assist and curate the types of information around benefit programs that its clients and employees needed.

"We wanted to create a space where everyone could access benefits information no matter where they were — whether on location with one of our clients or working from home. This immediately led us to seek a platform to give everyone access to relevant information when needed."

 

Turning to technology to create content at scale

When deciding on a solution, Businessolver created a list of criteria it was looking for. This included ease of use, low-code or no-code technology, easy customization, reporting capabilities, responsiveness, and content governance features.

"We were ultimately looking for a solution that could grow with us over time. And since we didn't have professional web designers on hand, it was equally important for us to have a solution that would be easy to use and help us create great experiences."

After test-driving Foleon with its design team, Businessolver decided that the solution had the right mix of ingredients that it was looking for to help it own the digital content space.

Digital content earns Businessolver two gold awards

Businessolver won two Gold and two Merit awards in the web-based resources category in the 24th annual Digital Health Awards 2022, which honors the world's best digital health resources. It was among a field of 700 submissions.

"The content pieces we submitted were designed using Foleon, so I think that speaks volumes about what we can do with the solution."

With Foleon's built-in templates, Businessolver has improved its workflow efficiency and, to date, has empowered users to create over 200 Foleon Docs supporting multiple clients.

"When scaling our content, the sky's the limit with Foleon. It's helped us successfully accomplish all the projects we've put out into the world."
