AVJennings is one of Australia and New Zealand’s leading residential property developers. Founded in 1932, they build homes and master-planned communities for first-time buyers, families, downsizers, and investors. They use Foleon at every stage of their customer journey, from lead generation to in-store display
Being stuck in the world of static PDFs when you sell top-notch modern houses kind of defeats the purpose. Losing leads after download, not knowing if they read the whole piece, where they dropped off… But worst of all, having to deal with multiple versions being out in the world. This whole situation had to change for AVJennings.
We chatted with Vinay Raja, Creative & Digital Experience Director at AVJennings, who told us about the challenges the team was facing:
With Foleon, they could eliminate all of that and offer a more complete and modern experience.
“Foleon became part of our operations. It fits right into every stage of our customer journey, from lead generation to in-store engagement.”

Rigid content formats that didn't scale
The team relied heavily on PDFs—static, clunky, and inflexible.
“Every touchpoint had its own format, we used to create several different formats for different customers based on the device size, which was slow and expensive.”
And don't get us started on the responsiveness of PDFs.
“One of my pet hates has always been delivering an A3 PDF on a mobile phone.”
Zero version control and hidden mistakes
Keeping brochures up to date was a nightmare, both online and offline.
“You're doing version one, then version two, then there's a 4.1.1, and at some point you want to do a timestamp instead. The whole system gets clunky.”
Even when they reached an approved version, they still had to deal with all the other versions already out there.
“Even if you update a brochure, it doesn’t mean it’s out in the world. There’s probably an outdated brochure still sitting in a sales office.”
A touch of innovation in the sales office

Buying a home is deeply emotional; it's a big step in anyone's life, and content needs to reflect that. AVJennings understood this and used Foleon to bring that vision to life. So they built a prototype of a physical touchscreen kiosk using Foleon.
“The second we installed the touchscreen in our sales office, people flocked to it. Sales consultants were skeptical at first, but within an hour, they were scaling up floor plans, pointing out features—it completely changed how they interacted with buyers.”

This new format enabled the sales team to showcase real-life examples of what they could do, which was a real game-changer.
Streamlining the content creation process

The shift to Foleon gave them agility and consistency. It also allowed them to capture real data.
“We’ve had over 60,000 page views and more than 12,000 unique users. That’s huge for a business like ours. Now we are actually designing our physical brochures based on the data we see on the Foleon digital brochures.”
Becoming a core business tool
Foleon is now central to how they do business.
“It fits into every part of our journey. Lead generation, newsletters, investor updates, and in-store displays. And we’re even prototyping post-purchase experiences now.”
The bottom line
AVJennings brought digital innovation into physical spaces and broke free from the limits of PDF-based content. They saved time, cut costs, and enabled their sales staff.
“Foleon wasn’t sold to us as a tool for in-store touchscreens, but it covered everything we needed. And it’s given us deeper insights into customer behavior than we’ve ever had before.”

Why they keep using Foleon
When asked what keeps them coming back, Vinay explained:
“Ease of publishing, being able to update content in real time, and just creating beautiful responsive content for any device.”
And for anyone in real estate or property development, he added:
“I would definitely recommend Foleon. You’re able to reduce your print costs, empower your sales team, and create a much more modern, interactive experience for customer interactions.”
